The Safety & Security Event Series has announced that every seminar session delivered across the portfolio at the NEC Birmingham in April 2026 will be fully accredited by The CPD Group, reinforcing the event’s commitment to professional development, skills advancement and industry best practice.

The CPD accreditation applies across all seminar theatres and content programmes within the Safety & Security Event Series, including The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event, The Health & Safety Event, The Workplace Event, Pro Integration Future Europe, and the National Cyber Security Show. Attendees will be able to earn recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points by attending educational sessions throughout the three-day exhibition, taking place on April 28-30.

This accreditation ensures that the seminar programme delivers measurable learning outcomes aligned with recognised professional standards, supporting visitors in maintaining and enhancing their professional competence in an increasingly complex risk, safety and security landscape.

“The Safety & Security Event Series has always placed education at the heart of its value to the industry,” said Mark Tilley, Content & Community Manager at Nineteen Group. “Achieving CPD accreditation across all seminar sessions underlines the quality, relevance and rigour of our content and gives professionals confidence that the time they invest at the event directly supports their ongoing development.”

The CPD-accredited programme will cover a wide range of critical topics, including physical and cyber security, fire safety, health and safety compliance, workplace strategy, AV and systems integration, digital transformation, resilience, and emerging technologies. Sessions will be delivered by leading practitioners, consultants, manufacturers, integrators, end users and industry bodies, offering practical insight alongside strategic perspective.

Matt Hardy, Event Manager for The CPD Group added: “We are pleased to accredit the full seminar programme at the Safety & Security Event Series 2026. The breadth of content and the clear focus on professional learning make it a strong example of high-quality CPD provision for the sector.”

The Safety & Security Event Series takes place at the NEC Birmingham in April 2026 and is expected to welcome tens of thousands of professionals from across the UK and Europe. CPD certificates will be available to attendees following participation in accredited sessions.
