Rise AV Strengthens Asia-Pacific Presence with Council and Mentoring Programme

Written by Karyee Lee | January 7, 2026
In December, the professional AV and integration industry across Asia-Pacific reached an important milestone with the launch of Rise AV’s Asia-Pacific Council and Mentoring Programme, a move that signals growing momentum around diversity, leadership and long-term skills development in the region.

Rise AV, a global organisation dedicated to advancing women and underrepresented groups in the AV, live events and technology sectors, announced the initiative as part of its wider mission to build a more inclusive and sustainable industry. The new Asia-Pacific Council brings together senior professionals from across the region to help shape strategy, support regional needs and strengthen collaboration between local and global AV communities.

Alongside the council, Rise AV introduced a six-month mentoring programme designed specifically for Asia-Pacific professionals. The programme connects early and mid-career talent with experienced industry leaders, offering structured guidance, career support and insight into leadership pathways within AV and systems integration.

For the pro integration community, this development is particularly timely. As demand grows for complex integrated solutions across workplaces, education, live events and smart buildings, the industry is facing increasing pressure to address skills shortages and leadership succession. Initiatives like Rise AV’s mentoring programme directly respond to these challenges by investing in people, not just technology.

The Asia-Pacific focus also reflects the region’s expanding influence within the global AV market. Australia, in particular, continues to see strong growth in integration projects across commercial, public sector and experiential environments. Building diverse leadership pipelines will be critical to supporting that growth and ensuring the industry remains resilient, innovative and representative of the clients and communities it serves.

As Pro Integration Future Australia looks ahead to the year to come, the launch of Rise AV’s Asia-Pacific Council stands out as a meaningful example of how collaboration, mentorship and inclusion can shape the future of professional AV and systems integration.
