On the 15th October, Pro Integration Future Europe hosted its first live Pro Integration Insider webinar, “Rewiring the Future,” in collaboration with digiLED and what an incredible session it was.

The conversation explored how the AV industry is undergoing a complete transformation 'a rewiring' as technology becomes more intelligent, connected, and layered into our built environments. What once revolved around screens and projection has evolved into holistic, multi-sensory storytelling: sound, light, scent, and architecture now working in harmony to create emotionally resonant spaces.
Speakers reflected on how immersive and interactive technologies are no longer simply “spectacle,” but strategic brand touchpoints that blend physical and digital experiences seamlessly.
AI, Creativity, and Authenticity
As generative AI continues to influence creative production, the panel discussed its potential as both a tool for efficiency and a collaborator for ideation, while acknowledging the importance of maintaining authenticity and human artistry. The future of AV, they agreed, lies in using technology to enhance creativity, not replace it.
From dynamic content creation to adaptive storytelling, AI is opening doors to more personalised, responsive experiences, while raising fascinating questions about where automation ends and artistry begins.

The discussion also delved into the changing nature of the built environment. As spaces become more hybrid, flexible, and purpose-driven from workplaces and retail to entertainment and hospitality. AV integration is now at the heart of how people experience design. The challenge? Keeping pace with technology’s rapid evolution while preserving design integrity and performance over time.
